Utilizing data from the second annual 2021 Hispanic Wealth Project Survey and the newly released data from the Federal Reserve’s Survey of Consumer Finances, the report’s findings highlight that despite the seismic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Latino families, Latinos are on track to meet the Hispanic Wealth Project overall wealth goals by 2024. Real estate acquisition and historic levels of home equity gains over the past few years in particular have protected Latino household wealth creation.
