Long Beach historical Latino Cultural Center & Business District is a needed source of economic inclusion and innovation, serving as a "community hub" for local and regional Latino arts, culture, citizenship, health and wellness, jobs, entrepreneurship, small business development, and history for the city's largest ethnic demographic, Latinos now representing 43% of the city's total population. The plan can be further supported by integrating the development into the Drake- Chavez Master Plan and the future Los Angeles Riverbed expansion.
