The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) has a long history of accompanying, supporting, and learning from immigrant and refugee communities. We believe that all human beings must be treated with dignity and respect.
We have seen the impact of immigration raids over our many years of work, and we will continue to protest, oppose, and offer alternatives to any immigration policies or actions that disrupt the fabric of those communities. At the same time, as we anticipate an increased targeting of immigrants and refugees, we offer these materials in the hope that they provide the information needed for people to protect and defend their rights in the moment.
